Big Xhosa Reveals How Long It Took Him To Complete His First-ever Body Of Work “Almost Time.” Following the release of his debut body of work, Big Xhosa topped the trend last Friday. The rapper’s amusing album promotion had everyone talking when he released a tracklist featuring global artists that turned out to be a counterfeit.
In an interview with Elite Magazine, Big Xhosa revealed that it took him six months to complete his body of work. The rapper also stated that there are also other songs that he did not include in the project.” I did a lot of songs in a space of 6 months. I have other songs that I did not put out, a lot of them. I just picked the one that I digged,” he said.
Following the release of his Almost Time EP, Big Xhosa made it to the Top 20 Apple Global Hip Hop chart and it’s something the rapper did not take lightly. Asked about the whole experience and how he was feeling at that time; he said; “It felt very good, imagine making it to the Top 20 Global Hip Hop. It felt very good. That was my first time charting,” said Big Xhosa.
Following his brutal cameo in SA hip hop with a diss track aimed at most big-name rappers, Big Xhosa has been a dark horse of the game. The rapper lamented many times on how he has been rejected in SA hip hop. With his EP being in the Top 20 chart, the Inyile chanter took to Instagram and thanked his fans for showing him unwavering support.
“Independent, no co-sign, little to no budget but we managed to be in the top 50 and at #29 on the Apple Music Hip Hop charts This shows that people love me and to me every win is a big win.”
“I’m proud of myself and proud of my supporters and thank you for the love you got for me. I’m also trending on Twitter . Can we please go to the top 10 on the charts .. Link IN BIO.” He wrote.
