K.O Speaks On His Iconic Reunion With Producer Lunatik Following The Release Of “SR3” Album. Friends turning into enemies is commonplace in hip-hop, and over the past decade, SA hip-hop has seen plenty of examples of this.
The fallout of K.O and the artists at CashTime back in the day has been documented and scrutinized in so many ways. But the one that has been reported to have broken so many hearts in the SA hip-hop community is K.O’s fallout with producer Lunatik.
Following the release of the SR3 album, K.O and Lunatik managed to find each other in a bid to create one of their best works together. Speaking with Apple, K.O stated that he and Lunatik are now back together in an iconic fashion and they have worked together in the making of the SR3 body of work.
The rapper expressed confidence that the album will succeed and said that it will undoubtedly stand up to scrutiny. “We’re back together as Batman and Robin and [we] created this beautiful masterpiece that I think is actually also just like the first album, it will actually stand the test of time,” he said. K.O is currently enjoying a good spell in his hip-hop career.
The rapper has been recently brought into a conversation where he has been made to respond to whether he is one of the hottest MCs in SA hip hop right now. The rapper has made it clear that he is only focusing on taking care of his family and that’s a big win for him compared to an award.
“Ain’t concerned about the popularity contest, some of us are just happy to provide for our families off this music ish. That’s a win bigger than any list or or award.” He tweeted.
In the interim, K.O is at the wheel running a well-oiled machine in the SkhandaWorld Republic. The record label carries good young artists such as Roiii, Just Bheki, Loki and DJ Mr X.
