Yanga Chief Responds To Whether He Will Release A Collaborative Project With AKA. Yanga Chief has a long list of accomplishments, including honours and hits, but he’s also faced challenges that led him to decide to stop performing. The rapper’s choice to do a career u-turn can be attributed to the support of his followers and his contemporaries.
The rapper has a very close relationship with AKA and the two have worked on a few songs together. Taking to Instagram, Yanga Chief took time to interact with his fans and followers as he engaged them to ask him any questions.
In one of the questions, Yanga has been asked whether he and AKA will work on a collaborative music project. “Will you ever release a collaborative project with AKA?” In response, Yanga Chief did not give a clear answer on whether the two famed rappers will work together, as he just hoped that to happen. “FINGERS CROSSED,” he wrote.
Yanga Chief and his associate Rich Mahogany recently collaborated in the making of Mzansi’s soccer icon Doctor Khumalo. The doccie vividly depicts the history of South Africa, which AKA evidently found to be appealing.
Taking to Twitter, Supa Mega lauded Rich Mahogany and Yanga Chief and emphasised the importance of sharing their story. “Congratulations on the release of your #16V documentary lads … @ItsYangaChief @Rich_Mahog … telling our own stories is so crucial.” Tweeted AKA.
