AKA Memorial Service Bookings Sold Out! AKA Megacy fanbase has been granted an opportunity to say their final goodbyes to their SA hip-hop icon AKA who was brutally murdered on Friday in Durban.
Online tickets for deceased South African artist Kiernan “AKA” Forbes’ memorial event on Friday, 17 February sold out. Taking to Twitter, AKA’s family announced that the tickets to the rapper’s memorial services have been sold out.
Taking from the statement, the Forbes family expressed their gratitude for the amazing response to celebrate AKA‘s success for the last time. “Thank you overwhelming response to the Supa Mega celebration of life,” read the statement.
AKA‘s family also indicated that there will be no tickets that are going to be issued at the venue hence those who missed out should rely on live streaming. “All tickets have been fully subscribed & no more tickets will be allocated or issued.
“Please be reminded that anyone who does not have a ticket can still be part of this experience by joining us via live streaming.” The Forbes family have encouraged the public not to take any money to get tickets since they were issued for free.
“It’s important to note that no tickets were sold & encouraged you not to send money to anyone selling tickets. We humbly request that non-ticket holders do not come to the venue. Absolutely no tickets will be issued at the door.”
