Cassper Opens Up On What Motivated Him To Start Making Music & Rapping Again. Cassper hasn’t delved into rap for a considerable time, as he’s been immersing himself in the amapiano genre. Nevertheless, the rapper is currently gearing up for a musical resurgence, this time with a comprehensive hip-hop album titled “Solomon.”
The rapper known for his chart-topping hits, opened up about the challenges he faced, his journey towards rediscovery, and the pivotal moments that led to his resurgence in the music industry. In an interview discussing the upcoming African Throne music tour alongside Nasty C, Mufasa delved into the creative process behind his upcoming album “Solomon” and the motivating factors driving his return to music.
“I want to make music for people like me, for people my age, for people who enjoy what I enjoy,” he said. “I made an album that really does for me. I’m not trying to make it appeal to numbers or anything like that. I just want to express myself and find people who feel like me you know I think they will appreciate it. So that’s why I started rapping again.”
Cassper also mentioned that he had been grappling with mental challenges, and certain matters were difficult to express on social media. As a result, he chose to confront these issues through his music. “It was also a mental health thing you know, I had to put it somewhere, I couldn’t tweet it because people dont care on Twitter. You could say something very serious trying to express yourself and it will just turn into a meme, so I just put it in the music,” he said.
