K.O Opens Up On How Self-doubt Has Hindered His Musical Career. Mr CashTime has been one of the most progressive and consistent artists in SA Hip-hop for more than a decade. The rapper has achieved a slew of awards along with a good reputation as he is amongst the most respected SA rappers.
With all that under his belt, K.O still feels that his musical career has gone through setbacks. Taking to Instagram, the SkhandaWorld boss alluded that most of the hindrances he faced are because of the self-doubt he had about himself.
The rapper said that the self-doubt was inflicted by naysayers in the game. “Hate that bunch of times I’ve allowed self-doubt to hinder me from taking much-needed bold steps for the benefit of my career trajectory. How dare I allow an insignificant fraction of naysayers to infiltrate my thoughts??” Wrote K.O.
K.O went on to say that the moment has come for him to embrace his throne and that he will not allow bad energy to dim his radiance. “How ungrateful of me to doubt my anointment?? Time to unapologetically embrace this crown,” he added.
The Caracara hitmaker may not have won the recently concluded Metro FM Awards, but he has made it clear that he is not slowing down. Responding to a question from one of his Twitter followers about what keeps him going.
K.O said that his addiction to being amongst successful people keeps him going. “The dream! I wanna be SA hip-hop’s black coffee, I’ve tasted what the world feels like outside SA, I’m addicted,” K.O tweeted.
