Pearl Thusi Prepares To Move On From Mourning AKA. It’s been six months since AKA was brutally murdered in Durban outside the Wish Restaurant along with his friend Tibz Motsoane. The rapper’s fans, family members and industry peers are still coming to grips with the passing of the SA rap icon as they await justice to be served.

Pearl Thusi has been amongst the people who have expressed their intense devastation after learning about Kiernan Forbes’ tragic passing. However, the famed actress and TV presenter is ready to move on from grieving her friend and rapper AKA.

Taking to Instagram, Pearl Thusi said that it’s time to celebrate AKA’s life and remember every good moment they shared together. “Ready to focus on the happier times now. Losing you cut me deeper than I had realised. Rest easy homie. Miss you. Thank you for the good time and tricky. Can’t turn back the clock. But we can make every second spent with you count,” wrote Pearl Thusi.

She added; “You live freely and honestly even when it made no sense to the rest of us. There’ll never be another like you. You made this life worth living. A masterpiece.”

The South African entertainment industry and fans around the world continue to mourn the loss of AKA, but they also find solace in the unity and support shown during this difficult time. In regards to AKA and Tibz murder case, the police previously said they are making progress on that front, but it’s been a while since they have provided the public regarding the case.
